What is on file with the SEC for the LeagueShares funds?
LeagueShares, LLC is an exchange-traded fund issuer formed to bring sports performance benchmarks into regulated, exchange-listed funds.
As of 7 September 2026, two post-effective amendments on Form N-1A (form type 485APOS), each adding a series of funds advised by LeagueShares Advisors, LLC, are on file with the SEC, filed 25 August 2026 by Hillman Capital Management Investment Trust (CIK 1122649), the registrant that the prospectuses refer to as LeagueShares Sports ETF Trust. Neither amendment has become effective.
The filings sit in the sports performance stack: indexes, futures that may reference those indexes, and ETF wrappers that would reference those benchmarks if and when effective. Take hockey for example: the first LeagueShares series on file are proposed funds tied to professional hockey team-performance indexes, because those CME contracts are the first scheduled to go live. That filing order doesn't freeze the issuer's category as hockey-only. Any future fund would be described in its own registration statement.
This page is a record of public filings and an explanation of SEC procedure. It isn't an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security. Registration statement amendments relating to these securities have been filed with the SEC but haven't yet become effective. These securities may not be sold, nor may offers to buy be accepted, before the amendments become effective. This page isn't a prospectus. Every EDGAR link is a preliminary prospectus, subject to completion.
Are these funds "SEC approved"?
The SEC doesn't approve or disapprove any security. No fund is ever "SEC approved" in that sense.
Each prospectus cover states that the SEC and CFTC haven't approved or disapproved these securities. "On file" means the amendments were accepted on EDGAR. It doesn't mean they're effective, listed, or available to buy.
What is a 485APOS, and what does "not effective" mean?
Form type 485APOS is a post-effective amendment on Form N-1A. It can add series and revise disclosure while a registration statement is already in the SEC's system.
Until an amendment becomes effective, the securities described in it can't be sold and offers to buy can't be accepted. Rule 485(a)(2) sets timing mechanics on the form's facing sheet. That mechanic is a fact about the form. It isn't a promise that effectiveness will occur on any calendar day.
Where can I read the filings?
Read the amendments on EDGAR under CIK 1122649. The EDGAR index name is Hillman Capital Management Investment Trust. The prospectus cover name is LeagueShares Sports ETF Trust.
